“It’s almost a convincing expression of the variety. It shows off red cherry, mulberry fruitiness and a bit of minty lift leaning into a somewhat rosy and floral perfume. The palate delivers more red cherry and alpine herb characters, with some grip and brightness to texture and flavour. The quibble, it’s a bit skittish in its acid profile, sitting outside of the main roll of red fruits and sweet spice found in the wine. Drinkability is pretty good.” - Mike Bennie
