Bright and vibrant purple.

Cassis and plum, with notes of spice and cigar box.

Sweet fruit and spice persist, carrying through from the bouquet. Soft, chalky tannins and gentle earthy flavours are framed with light oak.

This blend is perfect to enjoy now, however will continue to age gracefully up to 10 years.

The Barossa Valley has a long history of producing high quality Shiraz and Cabernet, and in 2020 the Rohrlach vineyard in Williamstown produced fruit of a fantastic calibre, allowing winemaker Jack Walker the perfect opportunity to try their hand at the iconic South Australian blend.

This release is crafted from 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Shiraz fruit, co-fermented in an open fermenter and hand-plunged twice a day before being pressed to seasoned French oak and undergoing malolactic fermentation in barrel.
